URBAN OUTFITTERS REBRAND
Urban outfitters is 45 years old in 2015 and has always been at the forefront of on trend fashion. 45 years is a long time to be in business, but what would UO's brand have looked like in the Victorian era? I used victorian newspaper adverts as inspiration for the rebrand as well as typography from the era. I re-imagined the store as a high end tailor and used tools of the trade like scissors, Singer sewing machines and more for the motifs.
Illustrated Victorian objects
Some of these I used in the logos but as you can see, I created a lot more. Illustrating them was an interesting exercise where tone is created based upon how close the lines are together.
