The GP Extensions API allows for thedevelopment of WPF based forms which emulate the stock GP look and feel whileallowing the use of more advanced UI elements. The API leverages the .Net toolkit for Dynamics GP VSTools and allows a developer to define whole new windowsor extensions to core windows without requiring a modified or alternate entry.The API has a number of class objects to help with the registering and bindingof core windows as well the definition of various GP like WPF controls to help maintainthe look and feel the end user is accustomed to.

Above is an example of a floating extensionswindow these windows can be "docked" to their host or can floatfreely; the API uses a special control for this in order to maintain focus anddocking information for the window.

Above is an example of a unique extensionwindow; in this case the window renders a single image which on mouse overrenders a thumbnail like image and on click renders the full image on the hostsmonitor. The extensions window is set to hide behind the host window untilmoused over and will track with the host window such that it peeks out from theupper right hand side.
