PROJECT: 41' Apache Powerboat design and advanced build

PROJECT:  Apache USA  |  A Boat Company
The design intent was simple, and started with a question... how would Don Aronow design this boat today?
The original concept drawing for the NEW 41' Apache - although we made a few design changes along the way, the design-intent remained intact.
Quite possibly the first CAD / CAM Offshore Powerboat.
The boat was never built under the Apache USA brand.  Pantera purchased the assets and went on to build several 41's, but never utilized or implemented many of the design concepts developed specifically for this project.
Final product in the water.  NOT exactly how it was supposed to be finished, but a good representation of the original intent.
Custom boat jewelry, beyond plastic stickers - shown is a speaker cover and the Apache Indian head badge.
The boat dash was designed to incorporate many powerboat firsts, while eliminating hours of labor.  Electronic computer-driven panels were developed to minimize wiring, installation and other issues.  Think fighter-jet technology.
The factory offices were decorated with pre-ordered parts and accessories for each boat being built.  It looked great and all the parts were in stock and ready for rigging.
See a unique (at the time) special ordered 42' Apache one-off, monocoque hull with a unique, in-house engineered vent-under-strake design.
