Trenches is a two player world war one turn based strategy game for ages 12+. Players must successfully navigate their way into their opponent’s trench by outmaneuvering the fortifications placed to fend off their offense. Fog of war elements create a uniquely fun and challenging tactical gameplay experience. An average game generally last forty five minutes.
Creating Trenches took many iterations of building and testing to balance the gameplay. I learned that being able to quickly revise builds between testing leads to more productive testing results.The build cycle for this game was a month, and it was a solo project.
