Five Row-Houses,
Torri del Benaco (VR), Italy, 2011
A plot on a slope facing the Garda Lake.
Its upper part allows for a wonderful sight onto the lake and the nearby castle.
The two proposals are two different interpretation of a "row house with a view".
The first one envisions a way of living between the ground and the upper terrace, shaping the dwelling as a sequence of split levels with different character.
The second one organises the rooms on a single level, breaking the resulting depth of the building with a small patio supplying light and fresh air to the service rooms and the free ground level.
