Kalevala - Series of illustrated folklore poems
For this project I drew inspiration from folklore and the Finnish national epic Kalevala.
I picked excerpts from the epic and illustrated them, compiling them into a book with some hand written text.
These illustrations were made using watercolours and inks, with some digital painting done in Photoshop.
