Lowdown is an web application where tourists can find out about historical, psycho-geographical, architectural aspects of the city. The main feature of the app is the ability to showcase the best of independent venues/shops located in Birmingham.
For my interpretation for this brief, I focussed on achieving a simple interface where users not just from the city but tourists as well can find and locate events that are happening across the city.
To improve on the user experience it was not just to showcase relevant locations across the city but also to introduce special offers, discounts and generally making the app more fun and simple to use and reducing the number of clicks needed to navigate around the app.
