When notoriously violent barber Billy Shears is killed during a suspicious peroxide explosion, the local property developers quickly snap up his traditional barbershop and gentrify it into the East End’s premier pop up beard parlour, fixie bike shop and cocktail terrace.

But when the promoters, creatives and general loungers of Shoreditch start being found with their beards (and chins) removed - and hair styles in Billy’s trademark 1980s ‘real mens’ fashion, it can only mean one thing....
