Golden State Warriors | 2015 NBA Champions
These cards were created to honour the Golden State Warriors and their accomplishment of earning the NBA title this year. As a child, I involved myself heavily with playing cards and they have slowly made way out of my life. These cards are to give praise to the starting five that the world saw take on the Cavaliers.
An old school approach was taken when designing these cards. A simple format that includes the players team, position, and name was used as these are not used as playing cards but merely collectibles for the series. A turn on their logo was used to frame each player and colours were used from the teams logo to keep consistency with the design.
The inverse colour scheme was assigned to Iguodala as he came of the bench at the start of the series to be named the finals MVP. It is a common trait of cards to use this sort of a colour switch to recognize special traits about a particular card.
