CAFE CASA MIA
Illustrations and Wall Graphics
I did this project a few months ago in Mumbai (India). They were converting a restaurant into a cafe and had already decided the logo. The whole idea was to make the place more youthful and lively. Keeping this in mind, I took elements from the logo itself and made it more youthful and interactive by deriving charaters out of the logo's form. The characters were meant to transcend the logo into the cafe's environment and make it more relatable and memorable. The illustrations therefore were meant for coasters, wooden panels and walls. I'd never worked with a canvas as big as a wall so it was quite challenging, but fun nevertheless. The client however took another approach so the illustrations could not actually be put into actual application. But it was a very interesting project overall!
