For my Graphic Design final my teacher had assigned a poster project. The project was to choose either an event or movie and make one poster. I have always wanted to make a trilogy set for The Cornetto Trilogy and figured that this was my chance. I included a character or object into each poster that was a reminder of each movie. Shawn of the Dead with the Batman soundtrack they used to kill their first zombie, Hot Fuzz with the Swan that was a reocurring character, and the "out of order" sign from The Worlds End.
This project was extremely challenging because of the Cornetto's cone. After all the different things I tried in photoshop to make this cone look more real I decided to just draw everything. Photoshop wasn't giving me the results I wanted, it looked to cheesey like image trace in photoshop. Drawing the texture took hours because the process was literally going into each little square completely drawing each stroke so that once I was done and had zoomed out of the cone the result would be a fully texture Cornetto cone. I'm pretty stoked with how it came out because this project just really fit my own unique drawing style.
The finished project was printed 11x19", on matte paper to give it a nice finish.
