Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Ohio Valley was looking for a revamp of their previous brochure, which had targeted male volunteers to combat their shortage of Big Brothers. Their needs changed, however, and BBBS was now seeking both Big Brothers and Big Sisters. They also wanted to raise awareness for both their community-based mentoring and school-based mentoring programs.
This new brochure aims to appeal across genders by incorporatin a variety of volunteers in its images. The colors chosen are those specific to the BBBS style guide, which keep the tone of the brochure lively. It focuses on visuals as opposed to heavy statistics or lengthy copy, giving potential volunteers a quick overview and inviting them to learn more.
