Limited Edt x Reebok Classic Leather 30th Anniversary
In 2013, I was part of the team that conceived this Limited Edt release as part of the Reebok Classic Leather celebrations.
Channeling inspiration from the zodiac Year of the Snake, reptilian print and texture is employed for the iridescent, color-changing upper. Singapore, where Limited Edt is based, is a multicultural society - the inner multi-colored snakeskin on the upper represents the vibrant nature of the nation. A splash of bright pink is used on the lining and midsole, with reflective trim providing its own bit of flair and also simulating the nocturnal nature of snakes. Doing right by the shoe, a glow-in-the-dark outsole punctuates the shoe’s overall light-manipulating theme.
