Four members of Magic Sprouts: Sachin Kondhalkar, Rajalakshmi Pandit, Nilesh Kawale and Vishal Kadam participated in a pop-up event called Museum of Memories by the Godrej India Culture Lab at Vikhroli (Mumbai, India). Click here to know more about the event and organisation.
This was the last happening at the building which would be demolished the very next day.
We who had only met it this once, chose to honour the space by visiting every inch of it, capturing its final faces to preserve them, befitting the title of the event. Text pieces were written by Rajalakshmi, speaking both as the building and to it as a departing entity. Part of the text was painted onto the glass windows by calligraphy & signage artist Kishor. The text and the photographs we took were printed as postcards, so that each visitor could take one to treasure.
