Scale model, provided by the Scenic Designer Vandy Wood, served as the primary tool for color matching .
Inspiration, also provided by the Scenic Designer, served as a guide for paint technique and over all look.

Made out of fabric, the building was mostly painted on the ground before finally assembly / Installation. Cut-outs of luan were cut to the shape of the windows, and placed onto the laid out fabric. The orange color was then applied using a paint sprayer. once the pieces were dry, the luan was removed revealing the unpainted fabric as windows.
Once the unit was installed, the darker color was sprayed along the edges to complete the look.
The Central Headquarters unit stored in this position, then dropped into place at the end of Act 1. During intermission, the unit was raised, prior to the start of Act 2.
The Man Man With Red Eyes tells Charles Wallace that he can show him their father, if he only looks into his eyes.
The Children and their father battle "IT".
