SYNOPSIS
A graphic memoir in the form of an illustrated journal depicting the story of a typical Pakistani teenager and her two year stay inthe coastal city of Cherbourg, lying north of France. It’s a story of a fourteen year Old’s exploration of the city she becomes a part of; her integration into the European culture along with a slightly dysfunctional and amusing family. Set in a comical overtone it depicts the lifestyle she adapted, the collective experiences with family in an unusual place, together with an overwhelming culture leaving a significant impact on her. A visual journey of vivid personal experiences and memories; written in the first person narrative.
