TYPE CARGA MÁXIMA - Peruvian Pop Style
Desing and Painting: Carga Máxima
Investigación: "Letras del Perú " for Azucena del Carmen
Hand painter: Alinder Espada
We call ourselves Carga Máxima, which means “Maximum Load,” because this is what the Peruvian style of chicha street art is known for: pure brush strokes with intense pulses and paint loads. What we offer is a combination and collaboration of urban graphic design with classic painting art and techniques. We visualize modern pop images, work with the best artists in the collective, and experiment with different font and calligraphy styles. The Carga Máxima style was formalized in Lima many years ago, so in order to share the history and significance of this traditional art, Carga Máxima also conducts workshops and classes for enthusiasts and the public. The aim of these events is to help familiarize students with this powerful style of Peruvian street art and commercial art, and teach them more about its legacy and top influencers such as artists Caribeño, Kalin, Paiteño, and many others.
