The brief:
To promote and raise awarensess of Singapore Symphony Orchestra
Concert for Children: Adventures in a Magical Kingdom.

Target Audience:

Primary TA: Children, Secondary TA: Parents

I approach the brief for this project with a 3-part promotional campaign. That leverages on both offline and online platform as well as SSO contacts with schools in order to effectively reach the right target audience through the shortest time. The concept behind this campaign is a quirky story of the magical fairy tale character and their journey from their story books to the unfamiliar “real world” for the Grand Ball. As a result, the characters interact with the world in a funny manner, adding a sense of fun that engages the target audience and develop a relationship between them and the characters.

Each part of the promotional campagin plays a significant role in delivering and promoting the concert as follows;

Phase 1: Introduce the concert, creates anticipation

Phase 2: Engage the target audience and to directly promote the message.

Phase 3: To repeat and sustain the meassage.

Throuh this project I took the opportunity to strengthen and asses my illustratiuon skills when applied to actual applications.
With that I understood the challenges and opportunities with using illustrations.

Brochure are to be distributed to schools to reach the right target audience.

The brochure is stylise as a travel journal from one of the fairy tale characters and to relate to the story. It also give a personal touch to the brochure.
