Arranging Objects...
I had never used Camtasia before when I was given this assignment. I had seen plenty of videos using this method and was always curious how it was done.
So now it was my turn to satisfy my curiousity. I chose the subject I did for simplicity purposes. I knew there might be production issues so I wanted to keep the content manageable.
Overall Camtasia is fairly simple to use. My biggest challenge was how to get my opening just right and have my voice flow smoothly.There are a couple of "hiccups." I left them because I liked the casual feeling.
I feel that I explained the difference between the four options under the Object/Arrange drop down menu. It was challenging to keep it in the allotted time. I can understand that for instructional purposes short and simple is better. I would have liked to explain how this option can work in actual projects and shown some examples.
I learned from this exercise. It made me think about breaking down a simple task so that I could teach it to someone. It wasn’t as easy as it sounds.
