I made this illustration of Juan Corberán of Alet -first steward of the Catalan Company in the early 14th century- for Desperta Ferro, a Spanish publishing company of military history [Ancient and Medieval Desperta Ferro, N 22. March-April 2014]. I did it using a graphite base and colored pencils, and tweaking the final art digitally. For the work of the chain mail I designed a two-dimensional drawing of the mail and then I adapted it digitally to the figure of the rider and the horse.
