Every year, the University of Barcelona organises a series of classical music (Music in the University), with an aim to spread an interest in the genre throughout the students. The concerts are divided into three month periods; the performances are spread out over each period.
The project development consisted of creating a clean graphic image where the month's performances could hold double meanings, representing the seasons, and the music. The overlap of meanings is created using the imagery of musical notes on the staff. In addition to that, the separation of the months allows for a powerful colour coding, where each colour evolves chromatically into the colour of the next month. The events are publicised on a poster which announces the concerts in each trimester and a leaflet which displays the details of each performance.
