In the spring of 2007, Visteon Corporation and 3M started collaboration on a new project named X Wave.
Both companies successfully designed integrated a BMW X5 with technology innovation and together offered solutions designed to answer a number of previously unarticulated desires of automotive consumers.
The X Wave features more than fifty innovative technologies addressing six social trends: comfort, connectivity, convince, health, flexibility (individualism) and sensory experiences.
