Undertow
Publication Anthology
Undertow is an anthology of writings and poems. I wanted to communicate the visual notion of the word in my solution - pushing and pulling, shoving and grabbing. It is also symbolic of a struggle, or a defeat and it can be also seen as triumphant, survival and strength to overcome. In my outcome I have focussed heavily on complementing the themes of the anthology which surround love, darkness, family, coming of age and violence.
I also wanted to create something that would be eye-catching on bookshelf amongst similar publications.
