Sidewalk Journeys - photography

Sweepers, rubbish collectors, the butchers at the morning market - some of the many people we come across on our daily lives often unnoticed, many times looked down upon and sometimes even scawled in disgust.
The reality is that these people are actually the greatest heroes in our lives.

They are the ones that take on the jobs that our parents tell us we would do if we don’t study hard enough. Sometimes, or I should say most times, they take these jobs because they don’t have a choice - to make ends meet, to earn the extra money, to feed the many mouths at home.

This book is a journey, a journey to show the world the beautiful faces and souls of those behind the dirty works, to hear the songs the unsung heroes sing, to appreciate what they do and who they are. - they are just like you and me: human.

Without them, life would be very much harder and unbearable even.
