* There are 83,000 phone booths in South Korea and they’ve been around for 53 years.
However, in 2013, 90 per cent of the booths are making less than US$1 each per month.

Renting shop spaces is expensive in Seoul.

In collaboration with Seoul City, we give the many young unemployed Seoulites
a start-up opportunity - by transforming the old and largely unused phone booths into free shop spaces.
Using their creativity, they can decorate the booths in any way they want. So the phone booths not only become pop-up shop spaces, but avenues of youth expressions.
