This project helped me understand how things fit together. It is different than just looking and thinking you know how it is designed than to actually draw it out on paper in full detail. This was good practice and I would encourage trying this on your own. What construction materials are involved in making this? What kind of wood? What is holding this together? How do they make this light be apart of the design? The signage, how did they make it? The glass, how would you draw the contruction detail for it? These are all things to consider when getting a contractor to make the design you would like to accomplish.
