Compilation of short design projects
The Bank Shot was a group project. It is an aid for learner basketball players. There is a receiver in the backboard and a sensor in the ball. The reciever uses the signal from the sensor, to calculate the area on the board the ball needs to hit, to land in the basket.
The House Phone was an ergonomic project incorporating a relatively new technology. My solution used Inductive charging and came in a range of materials to allow for a greater target market.
I developed the laptop case at sixth form college. It is designed for use whilst on transport, be it a bus, train or car. The case can be adapted to fit onto the back of different seats without affecting the passenger in front.
Below are two presentation boards I produced whilst in my 1st year of university, after assembling the supplied parts in Solidworks.
