Idea
After reading online about things to coat the inside of the mold with, I came across someone using blue painter's tape. This worked very well and it was something I already had a good supply of so no additional costs at that point in time.
I thought this was a cool shot. Shows some imperfections with the corners not being 100% square. I attrubite this to shop equipment being slightly off square as well as rushing to get this put together and the concrete poured in time.

Before the last 4 gallon pour showing some of the rebar that is imbedded. Each bar is bent at a 90 degree angle and turn the corner into an adjacent 'slab'
Finished Project. 18" x 18" x 18" Cube/module. Each 'slab' is 4" thick and the dimensions vary between 18"x 18", 14" x 18" and 14" x 14"
 
I did't think the painter's tape would leave this big of an impression on the final product but it was a unexpected element that I really enjoy.
