Dynamic Winter Brushes - Arctic Gale
Photoshop dynamic brushes that are really cool
Photoshop dynamic brushes that are really cool
These brushes were born out of frustration - working on several pieces for various clients at different times requiring snow, frost, ice and various winter-like effects.
The last piece was for Verizon and NHL rich-media banners - it was a last minute concept and I needed ice, frost and other elements fast. So I did a quick search for brushes and other elements. Not only did I NOT find decent brushes, I noticed that a majority of the Photoshop brushes out there were mere "photo-stamps". I'm not knocking the photo-stamps, but really when it comes down to creativity, as an artist I needed a frostmakin-snowblasting tool that would create unique images and enable me to be as flexible as possible. Obviously with time being short I did what I could but I knew it could be a lot better.
Cut to two weeks later and a lot of time spent at my computer at night messing with images, brush settings and whatnot - ArcticGale was born.
These brushes include snow, frost, snowflakes, fog, slush, clouds and various other elements that should help you complete a winter-wonderland in record time.
I know what you're thinking. "Why should I have to pay for these when there's so much out there for free?"
Answer: Because what's out there for free is often a photostamp and usually isn't something that I would recommend using for commercial output. These brushes are dynamic and are meant to be used with a pressure sensitive tablet.
There is a sampler pack of the brushes called "Frost and Tip" and you are welcome to use those - however a lot of time and effort went into the Arctic Gale set which is really noticable when you use them.
Only $3
