In creating this calendar, we were inspired by the works of Kazimir Malevich, El Lissitzky and other Russian avant-garde artists. Style of painting which they followed was called Suprematism from which later was born Constructivism. We wanted to hint at the fact that as Suprematism was ideological basis of Constructivism, as well as cement is the mainstay of construction.
