"The Picture Rooms"

A Street Art Project
This was a project to produce four images that would wrap around a traffic control box in the centre of Dublin city.  The idea behind the images was to produce comic-like but highly detailed works that would stand out and add a bit of colour to a city not known for embracing the spectrum.  I cheekily re-used one of my images from a previous project but created a 16-headed version ensuring maximum use of colour.  All original pencils and freehand inks were done on A2 size sheets before being scanned in at 400 DPi and then fully coloured in photoshop.  The pieces needed to be scaled up to 1m40 in height.  The largest of the four files came in at 1.5 GB and my PC is still licking its' wounds.
