House of Zhou is one of the restaurants I designed for Solaire Resort & Casino (Manila, Philippines). I got the term Zhou from Zhou Dynasty - a period in Chinese culture where their cuisine was established. 

 

The mark is a personal recollection. Years back, we had a family business where we would supply freshwater sea bass and snappers to local Chinese restaurants. My dad and I visit the fish ponds in the provinces once in a while. I would always remember how I look down at the ponds and feed the fishes. Basically, the mark of House of Zhou is a bird's eye view of a fish swimming.
