This is an example for a simple solid and 3D-printable Structure built in Grasshopper, Weaverbird and Lunchbox. It is based on a hexagonal grid, meshed and softened. You can adjust the number of cells, the height, the diameter of the holes and the wall thickness. If you try it on your own please mind that the mesh settings of "Mesh Brep" must be as low as possible.
