The beauty of a book : deconstructed

With vast improvements in technology in our fast paced society today, naby have taken to reading electronic books off a tablet or an e-reader. Some have even stopped reading all together. Drawn by the convienience electronic devices offer, many have forgotten the joys and intimacy that comes with reading a physical book. Thus, the action of reading a physical book has become a fading tradition.

This book is hence a sort of semi-deconstruction of the book to provide enlightenment and appreciation for book anatomy as well as to emphasize on the beauty of a book; namely the texture of the paper, the olfactory - whether the paper smells musty or fresh and new, the visual and tactile effects achieve with printing techniques, as well as the auditory aspect wherby the weight of the paper is correalted to the sound of paper, and last but not least, the kinaesthetic aspect which refers to the very actio nof flipping the book.

These are some of the very special things that will never be able to be replicated when reading with the use of electronics, and theres is hope that one's eyes would be opened to the sacredness and beauty of reading physical book and prevent reading a book from becoming a lost tradition.
