Shell office building designed for Merritt Properties, LLC and located in Hunt Valley, Maryland. This 114,000 s.f., three-story office building achieved a LEED Platinum certification in the Core and Shell (CS) category and was completed in 2009. The project was designed by salvaging the roof and steel frame from a previous office building and updating the core and exterior skin to a more attractive, and more lease-ready facility. In 2009, the project received awards from the Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) of Baltimore, the LEED Office Building Of The Year from the National Association of Office and Industrial Parks (NAIOP) - Maryland, and the LEED Core and Shell Green Project Of The Year from the U.S. Green Building Council.
