Index Fairs is India’s acknowledged leader in the interiors sector and has built up a strong reputation and loyal client base over 26 years.
Interior Space and furniture Department of MIT Institute of Design, Pune, participated in this exhibition with a goal to showcase student’s work, skills and capabilities to the industry.
Accordingly, the entire exhibition stall, from conceptualization to execution, was to be done by final year students of the same department. With the theme of outdoor furniture, an exhibition showcasing work of the entire department was conceived.
A detailed process of the same has been explained by me in the November-December issue of DESIGN MATRIX (page 55).
Initial space planning and paneling design was handled. Site setup was also executed.
Various options were explored before detailing out the final layout.
From left to right- Storage of packing material was included in the panel design, scaled model of the pantone chair was on display, a show reel consisting the departments work was developed, display stand was utilized as reception table, paneling design and production was undertaken, “Duin” was also displayed.
