Ladakh and Kashmir are like nowhere else in India. Its a different world compared to the rest of the country. The people of Ladakh and Kashmir don’t class themselves as being Indian. Politically this is India but culturally this is somewhere completely different. Somewhere very cool. So while here I have been exploring the himalaya’s on a motorcycle, hanging out in buddhist monasteries, tracking down Gojar tribes, visiting mountain villages and getting caught up in natural disasters all in the quest of photographing the enigmatic people of this amazing region.
