Mobile UI/UX design: iOS

SCS overcame stiff competition for this job, and the client is delighted. It allows parents to monitor—and have limited control—their children's use of iOS and Android devices.

I designed and built all aspects of this app, from logo to wireframe to all assets, including the "night sky" gradient that moves downward the longer the app is in use, simulating nightfall.

The concept here was for an app that could be used for anonymous chatting within a specified area. The UI needed to be clean, attractive, and dead simple—users wouldn't be spending extra time trying to figure out a convoluted UI.

My solution met all these criteria, including a touch of humor in user-facing messages. I worked with the client to keep the idea as simple as possible.

The purpose of this app is to help businesses track their security assets and investments. The client and development team loved the clean, simple execution of a potentially complex app, as well as the "techy" feel of the interface.
The clients came to me with an adequate UI already in place. But it felt stilted and clunky, and it was far too busy. This sleek, quiet interface allows the user to quickly find just what they need, even among loads of information, and users always know exactly where they are.

Created for a drone aircraft fitted with a camer, the goal of this UI design was to allow intuitive control of both aircraft and camera—a sometimes complex operation—without interfering with the remarkable experience of flight.

The client loved this app, which was designed to facilitate the work of health care workers in the field. I designed the look and feel to be clear, simple, and friendly. I also designed all assets for this app.

The client needed a UI that allowed users to control their product remotely instead of having to physically go where the product was. Working closely with the developer and client, I created all aspects of this app, including buttons, backgrounds, and icons.
This design for the Biamp Dialer app recently won the 2012 AV Technology Magazine award for the “Best new app to manage AV systems”.  The award was presented in June 2012 at the InfoComm conference, which is one of the biggest venues in the audio/video trade industry.

This app is designed to make it easy for the user to share images and captions with friends and others within a selected radius. The interface is simple and friendly, targeting a young, socially mobile audience. I developed a wireframe based on the client's verbal description, and worked closely with him through various steps of refinements until he was very happy with the final product. I delivered the final vector graphics to the client for use in development.

The need was determined for an app that approached weight loss from a social standpoint—a game, instead of a chore. Working closely with the app developer, I designed all aspects of this app, from wireframe to PSDs to PNG files.
