Encourage people to actively get involved with their cities recycling program
 
Intro
WeCycle was pitched to Bath City Council in my final year of university. The idea was to promote not only recycling, but recycling from the ground up. The idea wasn’t to reinvent it, but instead to reintroduce it to the community - basically to re-think recycling.
Work in progress
The name came to me pretty early on in the sketching phase, a stroke of inspiration soon led to many sketches, slogans and poster campaigns. Reining in the ideas was the most challenging part of this phase and once I had I was able to start nailing down the logo, which would inform all other areas of this identity.
Solution
What was finally pitched to Bath Council was a new recycling initiative which I believe could transform the way we all recycle. WeCycle is a bold and ambitious plan which was fully covered inside a 56 page, full- colour pitch document which details all of the initiative and covers the WeCycle brand, product plans, which make it easier for households and collectors to collect waste, poster campaigns and other related brand materials.
