It was my first time to work with people I'm not really familiar with. My inspiration for this shoot was a lonely ballerina with an invisible audience. I'm not really knowledgeable when it comes to ballet or other stuff as such, but I just went with the flow and tried my luck in it. It was a bit of a surprise to me when I showed the inspiration to my stylist, I didn't expect it to come out similar to Natalie Portman's character as the Black Swan. I liked the idea and really believed that we could pull it off.
Alexandra is really a lovely model. She's been modeling for 12 years and she's so talented at what she's doing. She really brought the right amount of strength and freedom in the set. She's easy to work with. Ken's team brought magic to our shoot. They were all great and talented.
If you would look at my shots, you would see the vintage-ish feel it exudes. Also, since I have been fascinated with analogue films, I figured it would be a good application to this set.
