Envisioning a new 401(k).
We gave Money Masters 401(k) a complete brand overhaul to help broaden their appeal among a younger generation of investors.
Forget the yachts.
The signature of wealth and retirement has changed. The new code of retirement is work. Money Masters is rewriting the rules of how a 401(k) investment program should work. Owned and operated under the umbrella company, Retirement Corporation of America, Money Masters bridges the gap between those entering the workforce and those on their way out, connecting echo-boomers and boomers. And all along the way, they aim to provide the know-how and expertise to guide participants to making smart investment decisions.
Navigating modern finance.
A 401(k) seems daunting to most, so when Money Masters and Hyperquake teamed up, our goal was to make investing in yourself easier to navigate. To ground ourselves strategically, our team dove deep into the financial world, auditing key competitors, interviewing 401(k) program participants and fiduciaries. Looking at one’s financial path as a journey, we crafted multiple touchpoints along the way that made investing, and just getting started, much easier.

Understanding the current landscape of new era online banking and financial applications, and because 401ks can be overwhelming, we knew the Money Masters brand had to be simple. The sharp and simple identity was infused with a bold and fiery orange set against a classic ivory. The mark came to life as an angled and layered pair of M’s – the interlocking letterforms symbolizing a partnership, a trust – and effectively represent the solid foundation and guidance that the Money Masters program provides.
Personal interest and the noble pursuit.
Our redesign became an internal rally cry for Money Masters to pave the way for expansion into national markets. Armed with an intuitive brand built around simple experiences, Money Masters continues to develop new customers who are invested in their own personal interest and are prepared to excel financially and happily. Wealth is not just about what you have. It’s about how you got there.
