"The oversized shapes of the collection remind of the multi-layered uniforms of samurai combined with the look of the bikers, which have always been a metaphor for the free and independent man. The mood on-the-road is further developed through the use of logos and symbols in use among the clan of centaurs ONE PER CENT and many other activities in the 50s and 70s.

DA.INKE. doesn’t go far from its main color, black, yet adding shades of dark gray, white and deep green. The materials range from thermo-adhesive, to patchs canvas up to all-over prints black on black, white and gray scale made in collaboration with an Italo-Berlin artist through avant-garde techniques that combine the photo collage and the artistic design with amazing results.

1% URBAN SAMURAI becomes the final destination of the visionary mind of its creative director Lorenzo Romani and his team, based in New York, Berlin and the Netherlands. DA.INKE., “not just everyday fashion“, is able to capture the man who likes to stand against the trends with his own style, rigor and personality."
