In early 2014 I have been brought on board Tamschick Media + Space to animate a 2-minute video for Norwegian Museum of Science and Technology in Oslo. On the occasion of its' 100th anniversary the participatory exhibition TING invites visitors to explore the complex relationships between technology and democracy.
After a conceptual phase I developed an animation that focuses around the theme of the Internet, the possibilities it gives, but also threats. Through a constant zoom out we follow a cyclical lifespan of a signal. From the tiniest, initial impulse, through the entire inner, technical workings of a server, then ending in a loop.

The animation is screened on absolutely immense 25-meter-wide, 5-meter-high and 180° projection surface.
