The future canine unit is part of a wooded area in the grounds of the present Academy of Police, located in the heart of La Londe Rouveray forest.

The principles that guided the implementation scheme were as follows:

1) the maximum conservation of the trees on the plot, both visually and acoustically.

2) proximity to administration to the existing car park to restructure.

3) protection of the acoustic and visual stimulation.

4) administration clearance to avoid contact (olfactory and acoustic) related to dogs.
