Diamante – City of Murals / Italy Tour 2014

For the last day of the year i kept a very particuliar nice work of mine, to be honest, my personal highlight, to show you here! I had the honour of doing a mural in the city of murals (Diamante- Calabria) this year during my roundtrip in Italy.
Since the early 80s there is an annual festival of creating new murals by international artists at Diamante. These pieces of art contribute to the cities fame and glamour. Since that time there was given rise to more than 300 murals in the meantime.
At the end there was also an interview for the Calabrian TV.
Diamante is in any case worth it to go there, at least not only because of the great panorama and the legendary beaches but for the great art you can see and find there.

Zum Endjahrestag wollte ich Euch mein kleines, feines aber ganz besonderes persönliches Highlight nicht vorenthalten! Ich hatte die Ehre, während meiner 2-monatigen Italienreise, ein Wandbild in der Stadt der Wandbilder (Diamante / Calabria- City of Murals) zu malen.
Seit den 80ern werden in Diamante regelmässig internationale Künstler eingeladen, welche sich in den Gassen dieser wunderschönen Stadt am Meer verewigen dürfen. Seitdem sind über 300 Wandbilder entstanden.
Zum Schluss gab ich noch ein Interview für das kalabrische Fernsehen.
Der Ort Diamante ist auf jeden Fall einen Besuch Wert, nicht zuletzt auch wegen des tollen Panoramas bzw. der unglaublich schönen Strände.
