Principle Footwear is the pioneer in the Malaysian skateboarding scene as them are the first local company to produce shoes catered for skateboarding. They are a subsidiary company of Hellbent Skateboarding and solely focus on making and developing high quality and fully functional skateboarding shoes.

OBJECTIVE
The significance of this effort is to gain Malaysian people not only skateboarders know about this product. It’s also a step to promote this product in and out of Malaysia. By using a new concept, advertising and illustration of Malaysian culture to promote the image of the country.

ILLUSTRATION & CONCEPT
The idea to do this concept it because of culture in the era. Gold colour to repesent fabric 'Songket' and emphasis item in the illustration. I create my own story that if that era have sneaker and skateboard. In the era yellow colour or gold for royal or sultan or king only. Songket only wear for royal people more often.
After making a survey and study. The information have been collect from source - primary and secondary sources as well as producing 'mood board' concept 'modern - classic'. Tone of voice suitable for this concept 'luxury - sporty'. The concept selected for survey responses from the 'traditional Malaysian textile' suitable 'Songket'. Even though songket is traditional and classic, Medival illustrations combine drawing and graphic suitable advertising.

CUSTOM COLOURWAY
After conducting a study and survey to produce these shoes. I was getting feedbacks and results. Next, I will apply what is best for producing. I made it according to what I describe as well as sketches that I have the results. The shoes I select it as the most popular shoes for this brand. I will make my own custom hand made shoes using creativity to produce concept that has been selected. It is not easy to produce it because I need to know the design of the shoes.
