Rhapsody of Silence
Solo exhibition at JCC Krakow for Prelimud (June/July 2011)
"...In the early stages his artistic development was marked by experimental videos, sound design, installations comprising fluorescent lights, floating canvases and moving-imageprojections. The current exhibition represents computer graphics stretched on a wall.
Through depiction of social contrasts and connotation aesthetics, his art responds to the dynamics of living in the modern globalized world. These themes are present in the ‘Rhapsody of Silence’ where technology and spirituality, realistic and impossible, limited and eternal are juxtaposed and challenged. By the same token, the ‘Rhapsody of Silence’ creates a space that touches upon both seemingly opposite – imaginative and prosaic."
