Technology helped me a lot when it came to coming up with ideas, because I saw the different styles of monsters from the internet. This helped me brainstorm ideas for the monster that I created. There are many different types of vector monsters on the internet, it really helped me when I was trying to figure out the kind of eyes I wanted my monster to have, because by using technology and looking at the examples it made it easier to decide what kind of eyes I wanted my monster to have.
Without the internet the execution part of the project would be much harder because I wouldn’t really have an idea of how the vector monster should look like. I would have had to think of every aspect of my monster from scratch without looking at examples which would have resulted in the drawing process taking longer. Also without the technology I wouldn’t be able to see what looks good on a monster and what doesn’t so I wouldn’t really be able to compare my work to the work of other artists.
It lets me see what I would like for my monster to have and what I wouldn’t like for my monster to have. It also lets me compare the kinds of styles of monsters and the different ideas for monster and there environments. It helps me learn about the good things the artist could have possibly done with his monster and it also helps me reflect on my monster and see what works and doesn’t so I could be able to change it before I turned it in.
