David H. Koch Theater - Renovation Montage

Renovation Montage
Gala Video
David H. Koch Theater/New York City Ballet

For the first New York City Ballet performance in the newly renamed and renovated David H. Koch Theater at Lincoln Center, I was asked to produce a video montage of construction footage that was shown while the orchestra played Tschaikovsky's "Garland Waltz" from The Sleeping Beauty.

Repurposing footage from a longer documentary I produced about the theater's renovation, we assembled this little montage to give the NYCB gala audience a peek into all the hard work and impressive scale of the project, and as a thank you to the people and organizations who helped make the project possible.

This video was also featured on nytimes.com alongside the New York Times review of the gala performance.

Produced by Kristin Sloan while serving as Director of New Media at New York City Ballet.
