2304+1 (Taipei Digital Art Fest 2010)

  • This project  is a continuous of the concept from the previous choreography corporation “2304+1”, I pre-record the dancer’s movement and project it onto a giant glass, the computer does the frame-difference calculation based on the image captured by the CCTV and transform the calculation result into MIDI signal, then the MIDI signals trigger the machine on piano to play random notes. The concept is about randomness and a way of composition, the dancer in video has been told to do movement freely, every element in this project is undersigned.
